My story

Six years of chronic depression – taking tablets that sometimes made me vomit.

Countless suicidal thoughts (with a will written just in case).

Bouts of debilitating anxiety – calling in sick to work because I couldn’t face it, dry wretching into a toilet bowl because I felt physically sick but had nothing in my stomach because I didn’t want to eat.

A childhood defined by shyness and low self-esteem.

A diagnosis of Asperger’s Syndrome – a condition that means I find it difficult to connect with other people.

A lack of direction, purpose and vision in my life. Just lurching from one forgettable day to the next.

One year of self-harm – cutting my arms and legs because I had no other way to address my feelings of frustration and self-hatred.

A sense of self-worth defined purely by the grades I achieved at school or the job I held.

Years upon years of misery masked by superficial indicators of what Western society deems as “success.”

My name is Andrew SVN. Using the tips I share with you on this website and my YouTube channel I overcame, am overcoming or am actively defending against all the difficulties in my life that I’ve just described. Not only that – the tips I share with you empower me to live a fulfilling and positive life every single day.

My life is by no means perfect. There are things I still struggle with, and may always struggle with. But my life has been improving year in and year out since 2014. A good life isn’t the absence of pain – it’s the being able to accept the pain and carry on anyway. My journey continues and I’m sharing that journey with you.

I live in England, but my advice transcends borders and cultures. No matter our identity, background or life story we can all live the life we want to live if we dedicate ourselves to doing so.

When I’m not working on this website or my YouTube channel I lift heavy weights at my local gym and dance kizomba in my local dance scene.

Thank you for letting me share my story with you. I hope both this website and my YouTube channel can help you in your journey to living your ideal life. Let me know how you get on at andrewsvn@outlook.com.
